2025 CCIS Winter Conference

This workshop, presented by educator Audra Catlett, will help teachers foster a sense of wonder and curiosity in their K-8 students. The workshop will focus on providing teachers with practical strategies that can be implemented immediately in the classroom to spark student engagement and a love of learning. Participants will explore techniques such as "questions of wonder" to encourage inquisitiveness and notebooking to document observations and reflections. The workshop will also delve into practical lessons and activities designed to ignite curiosity across various subjects, promoting a deeper understanding of the world and a lifelong passion for exploration.
