About me
Kirk Bebout has been an educator for the last twenty-one years. Thirteen years as a teacher, and the past eight years as an Elementary, K-8 and middle school principal. Eighteen of Kirk’s years in education have been at Title 1 Schools. Along with Kirk’s time as a teacher and administrator, he has also coached sports at the high school, middle school and elementary levels. Kirk has implemented PBIS at his last 2 schools, and has extensive experience creating and establishing alternative discipline strategies to serve our most at risk youth. Using data as a guide, he has a keen ability to encourage teachers and staff to address the whole child through PBIS and Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports. Kirk has been successful at reducing suspension rates and behavior incidents and improved the overall culture and climate at his school sites. He is a creative and proactive leader and excels at gaining the staff consensus needed to make swift and effective progress.
