About me
I have been a principal for 21 years in Capistrano Unified and Tustin Unified School Districts. I have worked in elementary, middle and K-8, and K-12, Title I and alternative education schools, and am currently at a K-12 Blended Learning School. As an undergrad at UC Irvine, I did extensive research on ADHD treatments both behavioral and pharmaceutical. After graduation, I worked at UCI on a major ADHD treatment student through NIMH and taught at the UCI Child Development Center, and coordinated multiple research studies. In 2021, I was named ACSA State Administrator of the Year - Alt Ed.
On a personal note, I'm a father of 3 girls aged 22, 19, and 13. My wife is also in education as an educational therapist and assistant director of the MAPS program at Mater Dei High School.
